"Code Hosting" is a short name to describe a Eutelia service for a Carrier with no telecommunication network of its own.
After specific agreement with Telecom Italia and Eutelia and assignment of a selection code 10xy(z), Carrier becomes a host of the Eutelia network and can start to provide its own services.
Hosted Carrier, after configuration of the Telecom Italia and Eutelia networks, shall provide a webpage to register its end customers’ Calling Line Identifiers (CLI, aka ‘phone number’). Registered CLIs can now access Carrier’s services by dialling the 10xy(z) selection code of hosted carrier ahead of number. Telecom Italia network will take care of routing calls identified by a Eutelia-hosted code towards the Eutelia network. After checking that the caller’s CLI matches an enabled CLI, call is forwarded to its final destination.
Eutelia provides the Hosted Carrier with a daily report on Call Details Records (CDR) to enable invoicing its customers in turn; report is provided at an appropriate webpage or can be forwarded to an IP address specified by Customer. Customer is also provided the option to generate a copy of its invoices in PDF format, before receiving them in print by Eutelia.
Service can be also offered in conjunction with the "Carrier Pre-Selection” functionality.
Service is delivered after preliminary activation of a guarantee or making a deposit (the ‘plafond’), tailored to each customer; in the latter case, monitoring of deposit will notify Customer the remaining balance and may request a recharge action to be taken, with various degrees of urgency, depending on the hit threshold (e.g. 50%, 25% or 5% of the initial balance).
